Birmingham-based Automation Personnel Services has received a 2016 Best of Staffing Client Satisfaction award from Inavero, a global client and talent satisfaction survey company. Of nearly 17,000 staffing companies that compete for this award, fewer than 2 percent achieve it, according to Inavero.

The announcement comes just three months after Automation Personnel Services President and CEO Stephen Nordness was named 2015 CEO of the Year by the Birmingham Business Journal. Mr. Nordness was named top CEO in the Midsized Business category.

Portland, Oregon-based Inavero said Automation Personnel Services earned the Best of Staffing Client Satisfaction award by providing superior service quality. “Finding the best staffing partner with a proven commitment to service excellence can be really tough,” said Inavero CEO Eric Gregg. “We are very proud of the 2016 award winners.”

To determine award winners, Inavero sent satisfaction surveys to all clients of each staffing agency. Responding clients rated their experience on a zero-to-10 scale, and were asked if they would recommend the agency to a friend or colleague. Automation Personnel Services received near perfect satisfaction scores from their clients, significantly higher than the national industry average of 27 percent.

The benchmark response rate for the 2016 award was 50 percent. Automation met and exceeded the benchmark with a 64 percent score, which is higher than the Industry average.
