Letter from the CEO
When my wife Leslie and I purchased a small staffing agency in the suburbs of Birmingham, Alabama, in 1990, we were confident we would be successful. However, never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined we would be as successful as we have become.
Over the years we have earned many awards and recognitions, including ClearlyRated’s Best In Staffing Client (2017-2023) and Best In Staffing Talent (2019-2023), Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) Largest Staffing Agencies in the United States, CIO View Best Staffing Companies to Work For 2022, and Forbes list of America’s Best Professional Recruiting Firms in 2020 and 2022, just to name a few. While the recognition and respect from our peers are wonderful, the truth is we don’t do this work for the awards.
We do it for the people we serve.
For more than 30 years, the people of Automation Personnel Services have worked diligently to supply companies with the talent they need to succeed and to provide opportunities to job seekers, all with a level of empathy and dedication unheard of in the staffing industry.
Automation Personnel Services has developed a competitive edge by focusing on customer service and ensuring that we are doing everything we can to meet the needs of our clients and job seekers alike. However, we are not content to rest on our laurels and our past successes.
On the contrary, Automation Personnel Services has adapted to meet the challenges in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have streamlined many of our internal processes, invested in new technology, hired bright and innovative people, and adopted new processes that will allow us to navigate any obstacle you or your company may face in the future.
In other words, we are leaner, more flexible, and better able to meet your needs whenever they arise.
We have also continued to grow and have other major plans on our horizon. We recently opened new offices in Mobile, Alabama, and Orlando, Florida and we are exploring other locations for expansion, such as Knoxville, Tennessee, and Jacksonville, Florida.
Lastly, we are fortunate to have one of the best and most experienced workforces in the staffing industry. We follow the old axiom “treat people like you would like to be treated.” It’s our culture, it gives us our edge, and it is what drives our success – and yours!
