Our culture! Automation is owned by Steve and Leslie Nordness, who founded the company in 1990. Steve is a “hands-on” president, who is active in every aspect of our business.

Steve personally interviews every candidate who is hired for sales or management roles to ensure they understand our culture and are committed to the same level of excellence that is critical to our continued success.

Steve’s passion for the business is contagious and is motivational to all of our staff! He routinely visits each of our 33 branch offices to make sure they hold to the principles he has established.

We’re on-call 24/7

Our customers often have staffing needs that arise outside of normal business hours. We have local representatives on call to handle any last-minute needs.

Startup Program

To get associates off to the right start, an Automation Personnel representative will meet them on the first day of a new assignment. If any questions or concerns arise, we’re right there to solve them on-site.

This program eliminates the no-show issue common with temporary employees. You’ll have the right people, right when you need them. Our representative ensures that our workers arrive on time, are dressed properly and ready to work.
