Granting Magic Moments

Stephen Nordness presents Magic Moments a generous donation.
In 2018, we decided to partner with the non-profit organization, Magic Moments. Our President and CEO of Automation Personnel Services, Inc, Stephen Nordness, presented the staff of Magic Moments a generous donation. Sandy Naramore, Executive Director of Magic Moments, explained that the donation will provide a magical trip or grant a special wish for two chronically ill children and their families. Magic Moments was created to provide moments of joy to children from Alabama who are suffering from chronic, life-threatening illnesses. Just as each child is special and unique, so is the magic moment they choose. Whether it is a trip to Disney World, taking a cruise, or meeting a favorite celebrity, each wish granted is different.

“We are blessed to be able to help these children enjoy the happiness they deserve!”- Stephen Nordness. Our donation will allow two special children to enjoy a carefree, joyous event with their families, where they can forget and enjoy time together.

Supporting St. Jude’s Research

For many years, Automation Personnel Services has supported the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. We want to do our part to help scientists beat childhood cancer. Treatments invented at St. Jude’s have helped increase the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since the hospital opened more than 50 years ago.

#AutomationDonationStation

#AutomationDonationStation was originally established by Automation Personnel Services, Inc. to assist in the recovery efforts of those affected by the devastating floods in Louisana and North Carolina caused by Hurricane Matthew in 2016. Team Automation came together again in 2017 to assist the individuals affected across Texas due to flooding from Hurricane Harvey. We partnered with the Cajun Army, the Carolina Corps, and The Cajun Special Forces to collect and deliver donations directly to the people who lost so much. Gas Cards were collected to help search and rescue volunteers get gas for their boats and vehicles. Many of our staff also volunteered to help with the demo and rebuilding of these areas.

We Walk for the American Heart Association

Why Heart Walk? Did you know 1 in 3 Americans have some form of cardiovascular disease and that heart disease kills more women than all forms of cancer combined? Automation Personnel Services hopes to help change these statistics by joining together every year to walk and fundraise for the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk. Team Automation has successfully come together to raise awareness and build healthier lives.
