Avoid Physical Altercations at All Costs

Instead, try to talk to them nicely. This might be easier said than done, especially if your co-worker doesn’t want to listen, but at least you put in the effort to respond in a respectful manner.

Focus on Your Job and Your Responsibilities

If you’re unable to be professional with one or more of your co-workers, the next best thing you can do is to just ignore them. This is best achieved by focusing on the job that you were hired for, and doing your daily tasks as expected.

Ask to be Relocated to a Different Department or Shift

If things don’t change, especially after talking to a manager, you might consider moving to another department, office or shift assignment. This may or may not be a realistic option, depending on your situation as well as the current status of your employer, but you might be left with little choice in the matter.

Either way, communication is key especially if you are on a temporary assignment.
